Walks 2022

Orkney wildlife guide Megan Taylor of Wild Orkney Walks has put together a special Festival programme, and there are some classics – including an opportunity to go the great coastal walk from Yesnaby to Stromness, with minibus transport to take you out to Yesnaby to start.

There’s a trip to Flotta, and a Brodgar wildlife walk, and other routes including Mull Head, and the bays of Orphir and Swanbister.

She’ll be looking at waders and seabirds, wildflowers and insects. The walks are special, with space for just 6 people on each, so that everyone has a full opportunity to see and learn more about Orkney’s wildlife.
