WALK: YESNABY TO STROMNESS
Join Megan Taylor of Wild Orkney Walks on a full day walk, along some of the West Mainland’s finest cliff scenery. The price includes the provision of a minibus from Stromness to Yesnaby for the start of the walk.
“We follow the coastline past Yesnaby Castle, towards North Gaulton. On a clear day, it is possible to get good views of the Old Man of Hoy. This is a beautiful stretch of coast with lots of interesting features.”

Megan’s aim with the Festival walks is to take you off the beaten track where you can see some different wildlife and enjoy Orkney scenery.
The maximum group size is 6 people. You are advised to have appropriate footwear for walking, ie walking boots or wellies and warm, waterproof clothing. Binoculars and camera are advisable and please bring a drink/snack with you.
NB Walks will only be postponed if the forecast weather will create dangerous conditions for walking. Otherwise, all walks will go ahead as normal.
