WALK: YESNABY TO STROMNESS
Join Orkney wildlife guide Megan Taylor of Wild Orkney Walks for a walk along the dramatic west coast of Orkney. We will meet in Stromness, where a minibus will be waiting to take us to Yesnaby. From there, we will begin our walk back to Stromness following the clifftop path, before descending through farmland, and winding our way back to Stromness and our cars. Although the walk is approximately 8-9 miles it will be at a leisurely pace allowing plenty of time to admire the scenery and wildlife.
NB It is possible to use the bus service for this walk, the X1 which runs between Kirkwall and Stromness, stops at the Stromness Travel Centre.
7–8 hours, Hard, £65pp
Megan’s aim with the Festival walks is to take you off the beaten track where you can see some different wildlife and enjoy Orkney scenery.
