WALK: MULL HEAD CIRCULAR
Join Orkney wildlife guide Join Orkney wildlife guide Megan Taylor of Wild Orkney Walks for a circular walk around the local nature reserve at Mull Head, Deerness. We will first stop at The Gloup, a collapsed sea cave, before following the path which meanders along the coastline giving good views of the North Isles on a clear day. We will keep an eye out for any wildlife including birds, flowers, insects and cetaceans.

Megan’s aim with the Festival walks is to take you off the beaten track where you can see some different wildlife and enjoy Orkney scenery.
The maximum group size is 6 people. You are advised to have appropriate footwear for walking, ie walking boots or wellies and warm, waterproof clothing. Binoculars and camera are advisable and please bring a picnic with you.
NB Walks will only be postponed if the forecast weather will create dangerous conditions for walking. Otherwise, all walks will go ahead as normal.
