VINTAGE RALLY

September 4, 2021 → 2:30 pm3:00 pm

An opportunity to see classic cars and engines, and follow the stages of restoration, with members of Orkney Vintage Club – starting with vintage tractors in action, Ferguson and Fordson and International, drawing ploughs and binders, and driving mills and bruisers.

Kevin Bell invites you into his workshop in Stenness to see how a 1965 Norton 650SS motorcycle was restored and brought back onto the road again. William P. Stevenson describes the restoration of an MG Magnette ZA, which is now able to take south for classic car rallies.

The Club round off with scenes from past rallies in Broad Street, with the sight of beautifully restored cars and engines on the Kirk Green, immaculately turned out, and the sounds of motors and of the Willow Burn Valley Stompers in fine form.
