The archives of the Royal Astronomical Society, established just over two centuries ago, have original works by great astronomers from Copernicus onwards, and a wealth of beautiful images of the night sky – as the Society’s librarian and archivist, Dr Sian Prosser, describes. The editor of the Society’s magazine Astronomy & Geophysics, Dr Sue Bowler, shows images of the earth, from historic maps to modern geophysical imagery.

Numbers limited: advance booking strongly recommended.
