It’s an increasing worry for businesses and public sector organisations – and the Cyber and Fraud Centre Scotland been established to meet it.

The Centre brings together the Scottish Government, Police Scotland, and the Scottish business community.

Its aim is to prevent threats materialising by providing every Scottish organisation with the skills and knowledge to recognise the dangers and build resilience against cyber or fraud crime. In the event of a cyber or fraud attack, the Centre and its partners can support organisations through the challenges and help them resume operations.

It offers the business community in Scotland services available nowhere else, including direct access to leading figures in the cyber and fraud world.

Its unique connection to Police Scotland and the Scottish Government gives it exclusive access to the latest information on legislation, criminal trends and threats.

The Centre’s Roadshow is coming to Orkney to introduce its services and raise awareness generally. This morning’s session is aimed at public sector organisations. A second session this afternoon is aimed at businesses.

Numbers limited to 40: booking essential, tickets free and can be booked through this LINK.
