with the Craig Mainland Dance Band, for would-be and why-not dancers of all ages. The band features Craig on accordion, Eddie Firth on keyboard, and Sinclair Taylor on drums.

And if you’d like to start practising, they’re going to start with the traditional Orkney version of the Eva Three Step. Then just to make sure they get everyone on the floor, they’re going to follow with an Orcadian Strip the Willow.

After supper around 8.30 pm, the dances will include a Military Two Step, and here they are with a good-going tune to dance to.

You can see and hear more of the band on their Facebook page.
